Reflection to Project 1 & Project 2 - DD Fall 2013

  In my class Digital Design Fall 2013, we had to do 2 projects for market period 2 and so my first project was to choose my 3 favorite movie and make an summary of what is about and how its related to me. And so I choose Spider-Man and Iced Age 2, as well Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie as you can see in the top picture. Also, my second project was to draw my favorite cartoon and then with the program Adobe PhotoShop CS5 and Adobe FireWorks I had to make my cartoon look like real. And I had so I had in a home page and a biography and process as well in different page as well in a hyperlink. In the other hand, I have change in so much and learn a lot from last year to this year in Digital Design. This year I really learn how to make a web page in html format and Adobe Dreamweaver CS5. Finally, am learning new ways to make my web pages more better and also how I can used other programs to make my webpage more creative.

HW Draw your Favorite Cartoon Character

  For my project #2 in DD Fall 2013 I had to choose any cartoon character I love and I would like to drawn. So for my project I choose SpongeBob SquarePants, I drawn 3 pictures of him and they are looking in different direction. And so I had to make a project of stating why I choose this cartoon and how is it relate to me. SpongeBob SquarePants is relate to me in many ways, we both have a real best friend. We both are funny,smart, and silly, as well we both are at times super crazy and would do anything. Here I leave a screen shot of my Process page, in this page I state and explain how I did this project. And as well I have my drawings in one side and next to it I have the Fireworks CS5 file looking like real. Marco Flores - Lab 8 - Digital Design Fall 2013

  In lab 8 I had to make a new site but I had to take all my labs 1 - 7 and make like a chart in order and with there icons on. The icons was the ones I had to take a screen shot of my labs showing the Syntax Codes,Where to find it, and How does it look in the end of the lab. The objective of this lab 8 was to get all my labs the one I have done and put them in a new site so people can see my whole work online. And also I had to decide if I wanted to click on a picture would I want to open in a new page or same page, so I decide to open it in a new page. So when I was done I decide to open my lab with the 3 most popular software's that were the Firefox,Safari, and Google Chrome and for all 3 worked.
  This lab 8 is related to Web Design, because I was designing a new site for my lab and I had to make a new chart with links inside each row when someone clicks on it they are going to be take to other page and see my labs. Also,  I used the same tags from previous labs to create my site and this time I put a reload page and the time. Plus, I used the same syntax codes and new ones so I can started learning them and have them in my head for later on. As well, this skills can help me in the future by designing charts with hyperlinks inside and how one little lab can make a big change in a web-site.

Marco Flores - Lab 7 - Digital Design Fall 2013

  In lab 7 I had to create a big chart and I had to use ordered and un-ordered lists to make a lists of what are my favorite food,movies,subjects and dislikes subjects, favorite music and shopping list. But also to get a 100 in this lab I had to make it better than the other labs I did for example I had different colors for different text. The objective of this lab was for me to create a chart in syntax codes and put a list with different symbols. So in first place I used the table tag syntax code to create 2 rows and 6 columns, second I had to put the text inside but I decided it to put it with different color so it can look better. Plus, when I was done with my lab I opened it with the 3 software's to see if they work and it does the chart works in the Safari,Google Chrome, and Firefox sites.
  This lab 7 is related to Web Design, because I learn how to design a chart already but also how I can used ordered and un-ordered lists in the columns and rows as well. But as well its related because I used a lot of syntax codes some were new and some were old like headings and title. The tags that I used were a lot some tags were numbers, other were circles but close and open, and others were Rome numbers. This skills can help me in the future in many ways, because I would know how to create a chart and what size I can used. In the other hand,  I would know how to used or create un-ordered and ordered symbols to lists to make it better.

Marco Flores - Lab 6 - Digital Design Fall 2013

  In lab 6 I had to get my logo, the one I create last year but I didn't like so I made a new one for this year. But first I had to draw it and so I did later on I had to scan it and I learn how to used Adobe Fireworks CS5 and I had to make it there my logo. But I had to make a banner as well, so I did that and as well I had to put my logo in the little icon that shows in the left cover of my page. The objective of this lab was for me to used Adobe Fireworks CS5 and put my banner on my page, as well a link to my blog. Plus, I used the syntax codes to create everything I put a red background and put my banner and my logo. As well, I used the 3 software's to open my lab, but only on Firefox and Google Chrome worked and on safari it didn't.
  This lab #6 its related to Web Design, because I learn how to put an icon in the web-page and most of the icon's have to be 16 x 16 pixels. Plus, I learn more and more in every lab I do because its the same syntax for now but its good for web design, because if I need to fix something I will more faster and easy. The tags that I used was the same tags from lab 1 - 5 not the chart one, but I wrote a paragraph and insert pictures. As well, this skill can help me later in the future by knowing how to put an icon on the web-site and also I learned how to work in Adobe Fireworks CS5.

Marco Flores - Lab 5 - Digital Desgin Fall 2013

                               Here's a screen shot of my fifth lab in Digital Design Fall 2013.
  In lab 5th. I had to do 2 things, one I had to write my name in a plate by using Photoshop CS5 and then put it on my lab site. So, the objective of this lab fifth was how to use Photoshop CS5  and create my nameplate with any color or text. Once I was finished with that I had to make a new site and I had to insert it online as any type of formatting. And I started with opening Photoshop CS5, but there was some directions on a study guide and so I had to started with a rectangle and go to filter and change some settings and finish it with putting my name in the center. When I was done I used the 3 main software's to open it and to see if my nameplate works with Firebox,Safari, and Google Chrome.
  This lab 5th. is related to Web Design, because it's part of web designing, and if your designing a web-page you will used a lot of programs to make better than rather using one or two. And as well its related to web design because you can create any picture or even saving it in a different formatting style also you can upload it on a site. And I used the same tags from lab 2 the image inserting one and with that I just insert my nameplate to my site. Plus, this skill can help me in the future in a many ways like I would know how to upload different types of style in the site by putting them their file name tag.

Marco Flores - Lab 4 - Digital Design Fall 2013

  In my lab 4 I had to learn how to make a chart with 3 rows and 15 columns in the web-site and also I had to put 15 different colors inside the chart. But the colors I need to write there names,Hex Codes, and it has to show the color in the end of the row. The objective of this lab 4 was to learn how to make a chart and put colors inside the boxes but also using new html tags. So I started with my heading and title like I do with every lab and then I learn how to do a chart but I had to put 15 columns and in 3 rows. As well, I had to search up the colors Hex Codes online so I can copy them and put them on the chart. When I was done with my lab later on I saved it and I open it with the 3 software's Google Chrome,Safari, and Firebox and its good to open them in the 3 software's to see if they work on them.

  This is related to Web Design because its designing, like what if I had to put a chart on a site and So I have to scan the chart and then upload on the computer. When I can make a chart by using Syntax Codes and finish it more faster, plus I know how to upload different colors on a site with their tags. I used the Chart's syntax codes that was " <table border="The stroke size"> and also I had to put the beginning tag <tr> and when I was done I had to put the end tag </tr> that means the I has done with one of my chart box. As well, this skill can help me in the future by making an chart and I know where the information well go like which row or column.

Marco Flores - Lab 3 - Digital Design Fall 2013

  In lab 3 I learn how to create an Hyperlink, a hyperlink is a word,numbers,or image that you can click and it jumps on to another document or web-site. So the objective of this lab was I had to make a site that needs to have 3 different sites but putting it as a hyperlink. So if I or anyone clicks on the link it will take them to the web-site I tag them. The 3 different hyperlinks were the W3Schools Webpage,TechTeach Webpage, and My Blog. Also, I had to upload or insert a picture or screen shot of the web-site to put it on my lab, as well when I had that I use the hyperlink code to insert the url of the 3 different pages so them can take them to the page. Plus, I used the 3 software's to open it and to see it work, they did work on the Safari,Google Chrome, and Firefox sites.
  This lab 3 is related to Web Design because if am doing a webpage on the internet and I want to have different hyperlinks to other different sites I will know what to do next or where to click so it can take me to the other site.The tag that I used was the " <a href=" Web-site or Url"_blank"click </a> so if someone clicks it with take them to the site. Also, its related or this skill can help me in the future because inserting pictures or hyperlinks is part of Web Designing and I know how to crate it now later on it will be easy for me or more faster.Overall, this lab had 2 new things I learn how to used and I know it will help me later on when am going to do a web-site.

Marco Flores - Lab 2 - Digital Design Fall 2013

  In lab 2 in Digital Design Fall 2013 my class and I are still working with the Syntax Codes and connecting them to make web-sites later on in the class. In this lab 2 we used lab 1 the paragraph file and we edit it bu learning how to insert images. Also in lab 2 the objective was that I had to do my School Year Goals Digital Design Fall 2013 and as well I had to insert it in my lab, and I also had to take 2 pictures of myself and I had to put one big one on the top and one little on in the bottom so it can show it on the software. Also the software that I used to open it when I was done was the 3 software's Safari,Google Chrome, and Firefox, they all work. This lab two is related to Web Design because I learn how to use the Syntax Codes and as well how to create a web page but also its important if I want to upload or insert a picture on the web-site.
  In this lab 2 I used the same tags from lab 1, but this time I used the Image Insert tag that was " <img src="Location/File Name.ext" alt="Description of the picture"/>. Plus, I see this skills I can used it in the future by if I had to make a web-site and if I had to put images online I will know how to insert them and as well how I can upload files online so people can download like I did to my Goals. As well, not only I learn how to insert pictures but I know how to put them online like what size and where they can be locate.

Marco Flores - Lab 1 - Digital Design Fall 2013

  In lab 1 the objective of this lab was for me to learn and study the Html Codes (Syntax Code). There is a lot of Html Codes that I had to learn but in lab 1 we used the simple ones. In lab 1 we had to put the title on top the web-page. Then we had to have 3 headings and one paragraph on what I learn in Visual Design last year and what I love to do and why I wanted to join the Visual,Digital, & Web Design academy. And the objective of this lab was to started using Html Codes to start making web-sites later on but this is only the beginning. So I had to open a syntax code for example <title> and then write the title but in the end I need to close it with the same syntax code but a / (end code) </tile> and my title is close and its correct it will show in my page.Also that goes with all the Syntax Codes there has to be a beginning and ending syntax code so the computer or internet can understand what you want to show to the user.
  When I was done with my lab using the Syntax Codes learn on I had to save it as a .Txt (textword) or .Html file so I can open it later. And so I used the three software's to open it and to see it if it really works, so I open it with Firefox,Safari,and Google Chrome. Also, this lab 1 - Syntax Codes are related to Web Design because in Web Design we have to make web-sites and we have to know how to fix it if there is a problem in the site. The tags that I used was the Html tag <html> & <.html>, Title Tag <title> & </title>, Head tag <head> & </head>, Heading Tag 1,2,&3 <h1> & </h1>,<h2> & </h2>, and <h3> & </h3>, and finally the Paragraph Tag <p> & </p>. As well, I can used this skills in the future if am planning to make a web-site I know the main function and I know what they mean and where do the Syntax Codes go.

What I learn on the first two weeks of school

   In this two weeks in Digital Design Fall 2013 with my wonderful teacher Mrs.Ramirez, I learn a lot in this class. On Tuesday Sep.09,2013, I learn what is Digital Design and Digital Design is something that you design in the computer using different type of programs. And in the first 2 - 3 days in school I learn what was the difference between WWW and the Internet. So the Internet is a connection of a website that goes into a network and then from that network it goes to another and another that connects to the global network connecting to millions of computers.And WWW stands for World Wide Web and it means its a system of internet service that can support specially formatted documents. Also, WWW can be considered as to be a user-friendly interface to inform on the internet and it can support HTML,VRML,JAVA and much more. As well, I learn what was a URL (Uniform Resource Locators) it identifies a specific resource on a server in a domain and also what it can protocol to use to access the resource. Plus, there is a lot of different type of URL's in the computers like http,ftp,malito,irc,gopher and much more. I also learn of what is a browser and a browser can displays wen pages, access authentication,  and much more.
  On Wednesday Sep.11,2013, I learn what is HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) its created in the computer and it can also crate different languages in the computer. And a HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol) it can transfer the Html into the internet. Also in class we started to learn the HTML Tags to start learning how to make a website. In the other hand, HTML Tags are keywords (tag names) that are surrounded by angle brackets like <html>. As well, we started to do 3 labs and those labs was to create HTML files by using Syntax Code later on to open on different browsers. Then we learn how to insert pictures on the HTML files and when we open it with any browser it will come out the text and the picture as well. And, also I learn how to use the program Adobe Fireworks CS5 to change the picture size and how to upload on the internet more faster with a little amount of space or weight.
